"The Future for our Children"

This section of the website presents highlights from "Young Minds" action at the Budapest conference. It was updated daily during the event.

 

At the conference, "Young Minds" presented their findings to the conference participants, made interviews, asked the delegates for statements on different environmental and health issues, voiced the opinions of young people regarding the conference topics etc.

 

Furthermore, Young Minders came up with ten pieces of advice for the European Ministers of Environment and Health, on how to involve young people in decision making processes in a more meaningful way. The main idea was that young people should make a substantial impact to the conference process, that is, influence the environmental action plans that were discussed there.

 

The conference was attended by approximately 1000 delegates.
