Our school was established in 1946 and it has started its teaching on

2nd September. We are visited by 723 students aged 6 - 15. School employs 51 pedagogical workers. In teaching we follow National vitae with broader language education.

 

Our school profile:

 

• broad language education from Grade 3 (English, Geman, Spanish,  French)
• intense language courses for students in Grade 5 and 6 combined with stay in nature and sport activities
• educative and cognitive trips to Great Britain for Grade 8 students
• exchanging visit with students of elementary school in Gossweinstein,Germany
• participating in international projects
• project's day - Health day

 

 

 

 

• since 1992 a part of European Program School supporting health -,,Healthy school''
• since 2000 involved to Program for international assessment of 15 years old pupils PISA
• active support ecological education (teaching ecological biology,Project TEREZA - separating rubbish)
• school library publishes 4 times a year school magazine Alfonz
